Die nach dem Patent 145597 hergestellten Zahnbürsten erfordern einerseits einen größeren Kostenaufwand, da nur sehr starke Knochenstücke zur Verdickung des Griffes Verwendung finden können, andererseits sind sie weniger vor dem Umfallen geschützt, weil der untere Teil auch aus leichtem Knochen besteht und so der Schwerpunkt nicht genügend nach unten verlegt wird.
