A legendary tag team match featuring Triple H and Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker and Kane is rumored for the WWE Crown Jewel special event at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Nov. 2.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (via Randall Ortman of Cageside Seats) provided the update Tuesday.

The company goes to great lengths to create star-studded matches for these high-profile overseas shows, which began with the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia in April.

That card featured seven championships on the line, a Casket Match between Undertaker and Rusev and finished with a 50-man Royal Rumble as the main event.

Next up is the WWE Super Show-Down, which is set for Oct. 6 at the storied Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.

Triple H and Taker are scheduled to face off during the show in what's being billed as their last singles match against each other. Michaels will be in The Game's corner, while Kane will accompany The Deadman as the Brothers of Destruction reunite.

Now it seems likely that match will set the stage for the rumored tag team clash at Crown Jewel.

If the encounter happens, it will mark the first match for Michaels since he lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVI in 2010.

In June, HBK told Tom Sheen of The Sun the offers to return and the WWE Universe's continued interest in him led him to at least entertain a return.

"One of these days it might be tough to turn down! Put it this way, I thought that after five years they'd stop asking or never be interested," he said. "But it's still happening. So maybe, the only way to stop it is by saying yes. I don't know. But when everything said and done I'm flattered people think I still have something to offer."

Meanwhile, Kane has joined Triple H and Taker as part-time wrestlers after being elected as the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, in August.
