How about dropping everything and going to the Bieszczady Mountains ? For several years, this sentence has been a kind of manifesto among people who would like to get out of work in a corporation, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and stay somewhere on the "edge of civilization". As a mountain range, the Bieszczady Mountains guarantee peace, quiet and escape from most of the city's amenities. Poland shares these mountains with Ukraine and Slovakia. In our area, the highest peak is Tarnica (1,346 meters above sea level), and the entire Pikuj range (1,405 meters above sea level), lying on the Ukrainian side.
The Bieszczady Mountains offer amazing trekking areas , which tempt with wonderful views and the possibility of hiking in the vast meadows at any time of the year. In the lower parts of the mountains, atmospheric towns await you, with Wetlina, Wołosaty or Ustrzyki Górne at the forefront. You will find here not only great routes for hiking, but also bicycle routes and sensational but not always perfectly straight roads for a road trip.
For whom?
If you are looking for a region where you will be able to lose yourself in the beauty of wild nature and vast views , the Bieszczady Mountains are the perfect travel destination. It is also a great proposition for people looking for a bit more alternative atmosphere or attractions.
