This 1962 Volvo Duett P210 was sold new in Sweden and is said to have been imported to the US in 1992. It was subsequently brought to California, where the 1.8-liter B18A inline-four was rebuilt in 1998 and the body was repainted in 2008. The seller acquired the car in 2015, and subsequent refurbishment work involved re-trimming the interior int an vinyl as well as overhauling the drum brakes and replacing the rear axle seal, fuel sending unit, windshield, lower control arms, pivot bushings, and sway bar end links. Further equipment includes a roof rack, ambulance-style rear doors, and chrome bumpers along with a Cannon intake manifold, a four-speed manual transmission, and Bilstein front shocks. The carburetor was refurbished and a tune-up was performed in preparation for the sale. This P210 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body left the factory finished in Mist Green (73) and was repainted under previous ownership in 2008 following rust repair on the doors and rocker panels. Features include a roof rack, chrome bumpers, vent windows, and mud flaps. The windshield and window seal were replaced in 2016. Paint bubbles and rust are shown on the left front fender, the right-rear door, and the rear door hinges.

Steel 15″ wheels wear polished hubcaps with Volvo center logos and are mounted with 165/80 Classic All-Season tires showing 2015 date codes. A matching spare is stored below the cargo area. Bilstein shocks are fitted at the front, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums. The brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, and rear drums were replaced in 2016 along with the sway bar links, pivot bushings, and lower control arms.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were reupholstered in 2020 with tan vinyl, which extends to the headliner and door panels. A floor basket with cup holders was installed in front of the shifter, and the dash pad was replaced in 2015. Rust repairs were completed on the left-side floorboards, and replacement floor mats have been added. The heater, dome lights, and windshield wipers are inoperative.

The two-spoke steering wheel wears a chrome horn ring and fronts a horizontal-sweep 180-km/h VDO speedometer as well as auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 3k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The ambulance-style rear doors open to reveal a wood-lined rear cargo area. The rear bench folds down flat to provide up to 100 cubic feet of load space. The seller notes rust-through in the spare tire compartment below the floor.
