A cultivar of the South Eastern U.S. native which commonly blooms three times a year. Fragrant, pea-like, lavender-blue blooms form foot-long racemes. Wisterias like rich, non-alkaline soil and full or part sun. Make certain their supports are sturdy; later, with age, they can become self-supporting. 12-25 foot long when mature. Deer-resistant!
