When BTS' V Met With An Accident: At The Fact Music Awards 2022 on October 8, BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, had suffered an electric shock from his earpiece just before receiving an award. He openly shared this incident with the audience while expressing his gratitude to the fans after accepting the award.
The incident was not a fault on Taehyung's part but rather a result of miscommunication or oversight involving both his and the logistics team responsible for the event. The shock, although not fatal, was enough to cause discomfort and pain.
As per one of the fan pages, the singer said, "As RM said, we have the concert in Busan and we are going to do something amazing there. We will pay for the gift, the daesang we received from ARMY, at the concert. I just got an electric shock in my ears and came to my senses. I’ll do my best."

In a different incident, back in 2021, during a virtual performance amid the Covid-19 pandemic, V, had sustained a leg injury that compelled him to perform while seated on a chair.
The band's label, Big Hit Music, had said in a statement: "We would like to provide the following information regarding the performance of BTS member V as part of today's BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE.
"V experienced pain in his calf muscles during rehearsal on the evening of October 23 and visited a nearby hospital for examination and treatment. It was the opinion of the medical personnel that while there was no issue affecting the bones in his legs, he should refrain from vigorous movement such as choreography or stage performance for the time being.
"As a result, V will take part in the performance while seated and without choreography. We ask for your understanding. We will continue to place the highest priority on the health and safety of our artists and strive to ensure that all the members of BTS can meet their fans in full health."
For the unversed, the group, consisting of Jungkook, Jimin, SUGA, Jin, RM, and J-Hope, had to cancel their 'Map of the Soul World Tour' due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. The release of 'Permission to Dance' comes after their highly successful 'BTS Map Of The Soul ON:E' performance in October 2020, which set numerous records
