Former Miss Earth Norway Nora Emilie Nakken was crowned Miss Universe Norway 2021 during the finals held August 14 in Oslo.

The 23-year-old model from from Trondheim bested 12 other candidates for the top plum and the right to represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She succeeds 2020 winner Sunniva Frigstad.

Nakken previously represented Norway at the virtual Miss Earth 2020 competition.

“I can’t believe it! Thank you so much for all the support during the journey trough Miss Universe Norway 2021,” she wrote on Instagram.

Angelika Catharina Kristiansen finished first runner-up while and Amine Storrød placed second runners-up Julie Dahlen Børresen and Stephany Gabriela Crespo La Rosa were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
