The NIA is celebrating the 63nd Miss Norway of Greater New York contest in 2018. We sponsor the contest NOT because it is a measure of beauty, but to highlight the influence their Norwegian heritage has on who they are. This fits in to the mission of the NIA: recording the history of the Norwegian experience in the New York City area.
