Wilderness explorer Hazel Audel is in northern Argentina on the second leg of his audacious solo expedition across South America. His goal is to navigate the vast savannah and remote wetlands of the Gran Chaco in search of the indigenous Pilaga people. Along the way he encounters venomous spiders and snakes before coming face with the region's 2 apex predators, yacare caiman and yellow anaconda.

In this enhanced episode, Hazen Audel leaves the savannahs and swamps behind to begin his climb up into the mighty mountains. Fighting his way through an undulating landscape of barren peaks, lush gorges and deadly cloud forest, he battles landslides, mountain sickness and a sudden whiteout to reach a high-altitude indigenous festival.

On the 4th leg of his epic journey across the Andes, wilderness explorer Hazen Audel takes on Argentina's notorious salt-flats. These huge, brutal white deserts are punished by blisteringly hot temperatures. On the other side Hazen will find the Cueva del Inca, a group of ancient mountain dwellers who still perform a gruelling sweat ceremony known as a Tamazcal.

On the fifth leg of his epic journey across South America, wilderness explorer Hazen Audel tackles the deadly Atacama Desert. Braving crumbling cliffs, boiling volcanic springs, and miles of waterless wasteland, Hazen follows the sun west to the pasturelands of the Lickanantay. Here he joins these traditional herders in a llama-drive to make it in time for the once yearly Floramiento Festival.

On the final leg of his gruelling expedition across South America, wilderness explorer Hazen Audel faces the perils of the brutal Pacific Coast. After battling his way over rocky peninsulas and towering sand dunes, Hazen braves the might of the ocean in a salvaged boat before climbing to the top of Mount Moreno in time for the Winter Solstice sunrise.
