20-years-old Kaja Caroline Kojan defeated 14 other contestants to bag the title of Miss Universe Norway 2017.  Grand finale of Miss Norway 2017 took place on Saturday July 29, 2017 at Wallmans, Oslo. Kaja was crowned by the outgoing winner Christina Waage. Kaja will represent Norway at the 66th Miss Universe pageant later this year. In the same event Celine Herregården was crowned as Miss World-Norway 2017 Celine will represent Norway at Miss World 2017 in Sanya,China later this year.

Norway won Miss Universe in 1990 courtesy of Mona Grudt. Norway last placed at the Miss Universe pageant in 2005 where Helene Tråsavik made it to the top 15 of the pageant.
