The Kybalion

The Kybalion by The Three Initiates (a pseudonym of merchant and occultist William Walker Atkinson), was originally published in English in 1912 by the Yogi Publication Society. The work is one of hermetic philosophy, which delineates seven universal principles. Mentalism, Correspondence, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Cause and Effect, and Gender. The work, not being the literal Kybalion, is a hermeneutic tract on that text itself with many alleged quotations. The work became one of the cornerstones of the New Thought movement of the early 1910s, and has endured as an renowned occultic text since then.
