The Secret Behind Agyness Deyn's Hair

When Aggy debuted her Buster Brown haircut this summer, she told me how psyched she was that the style is so easy to dress up.

"I love that I can wear it in a soft, 1920s baby bob," she said, like the kind she featured at this week's event for The Humane Society at Bowery Hotel.

And like those honker diamond (or rhinestone?) earrings, her hair looked absolutely brilliant. Graphic bobs--especially bleach blonde ones--only look chic if they're shiny, soft, and swingy.

So how does she do it? Aggy's colorist, Laurie Foley, turned her on to Alterna The Science of Ten Hair Masque ($55), a five-minute treatment infused with hyaluronic acid, champagne grapeseed oil, white truffle oil, and the brand's Caviar Age-Control Complex to repair and renew hair's texture and shine.

Pretty uptown stuff for a downtown look, but Aggy's all about high-low. Love it.
