No. Mostly DIRT
I was so excited to try this, because I've had it before and wanted to support a natural company. BUT I am so grossed out by this "tea." I refuse to steep it/taste it half the bag is dirt. It's not powder/dry bits of the root - there was residue all over the inside of the bag that is the consistency or dried/dusty dirt.Rhodiola quadrifida root is generally dried in clusters that resemble the base of a broom (think the witches' brooms or harvest time brush bottom brooms). You can break up the roots but it would never become a powdery dirt. Even though it looks like there are bits of that in here they are minimal single thin pieces. If you look at the photos half the bag is powdery dirt.I'm so disgusted. This is not worth $5 let alone the $14 price at the time I received it. Maybe I got a bad batch or the remnants of a better batch. But based on what I received I'd never recommend this.
