My husband has always ben a fan of sarsaparilla drinks so I knew I needed to get this for him. It brings back memories from his childhood as he and his father would often enjoy sarsaparilla drinks together. This was the 1st time we had purchased it in this form though, as we normally purchase the sarsaparilla flavored drinks ready made. I do often buy him the concentrate as well, so I was curious to see if he would like this. I make him tea by the gallon multiple times a week and we add this to the mix. We place a small amount (you may need to adjust to your liking) into a tea infuser basket and brew it along with his gallon sized tea bag. I would suggest starting out with a lesser amount, working up to the desired amount to your taste preference. We have made several batches thus far and he is really enjoying it. The root/tea looks of good quality and the pieces are uniform in shape and size. It takes a very small amount (maybe 1-2tbsp per gallon) so this amount will last for quite some time. If you use too much it will be bitter, he likes using a small amount to provide just a hint of flavor. The flavor profile does resemble that of root beer.
