The KTM X-Bow is a unique, track-focused car and a low-mileage example is currently up for auction through Bring A Trailer.

This X-Bow is a 2017 Comp R variant and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2020. It is not street-legal so if you don’t intend on driving at track days, this isn’t for you. If, however, you do enjoy the freedom that track days give you to fully exploit the performance of a car, this is certainly a nice way to do it.

The X-Bow features Recaro seats incorporated directly into the carbon fiber monocoque, a Schroth four-point harness for the driver, roll hoops, a leather-wrapped steering wheel that houses the turn signals, horn, and headlights, and a small digital display.

Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter Audi four-cylinder pumping out 296 hp that’s coupled to a six-speed manual transmission with a Drexler limited-slip differential which drives the rear wheels. The listing reveals the car has been driven just 300 miles (482 km).

The bodywork of the Comp R is a little different than other variants of the X-Bow and includes a towering carbon fiber rear wing, a unique engine cover, a front splitter, and a bespoke rear diffuser. This example is sitting on sticky Firestone Firehawk tires and an extra set of slicks will be included in the sale.
