This nice piece of history was fully restored in March 2020 down to the very last bolt. This was done by a specialist in Russian motorcycles. The motorcycle has a Moldovan license plate and is in the Netherlands. From 1967 to 1995, this beautiful motorcycle was owned by the agricultural department of Moldova (Soviet Union). It was used for courier services and every now and then for passenger transport. No expense or effort was spared during its restoration, only original parts were used, it’s now better than new. This is a very reliable motorcycle. It always starts, it drives and shifts smoothly. The parts which commonly wear out were replaced by parts that do not: - Bearings by Timken - Seals by SKF - New gaskets - New European wiring and electrical components - New pistons - Piston rings with chrome coating - Frame blasted and powder-coated - All bolts, nuts, etcetera; blasted and galvanised - New brake linings - The engine block and gearbox have been revised See pictures for an impression of the restoration’s quality.
