She might at one time had strong feelings for Donald Trump Jr., but Aubrey O’Day never seemed to be a fan of his father, her former boss on the reality show “Celebrity Apprentice.”
A radio interview from 2013 has surfaced with the former Danity Kane singer skewering the future president for his opinions, vulgar language and lavish lifestyle, according to Page Six.
“Off-camera (Donald Trump Sr.) cursed a lot more. He never cursed on camera but the second the cameras went off, man, he had a potty mouth. He likes to be the polarizing thought in the room,” O’Day said during a previously unreleased interview on “The Domenick Nati Show.”
O’Day compared Trump Sr. unfavorably to Diddy, her original reality show mentor from 2005-06 on the third iteration of “Making the Band.” O’Day won a spot as a member of Danity Kane, the all-girl singing group assembled for the show.
“I got so close with Diddy. I had so much to respect and look up to, and I wanted so badly to be impressive and work hard,” she said. “I mean, he was our mentor, where I didn’t have that same feeling with Trump. I absolutely don’t agree with most of his opinions, and I think a lot of it is just obnoxious noise.”
And then O’Day took one final shot at Trump Sr.
“I mean, he has an entire home that’s like all gold,” she said. “You walk in, your eyes hurt.”
O’Day supported Hillary Rodham Clinton over Trump Sr. during the 2016 presidential election. Following his victory, she tweeted, “my story I didn’t tell is worth millions now … this doesn’t hurt me, it hurts America.”
Her tweet made a little more sense last week when it was reported that she and Trump Jr. had an affair during her time on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Some sources pointed to the affair as the beginning of the end of Trump Jr.’s marriage. Vanessa Trump, his wife of more than 12 years, filed for divorce last week,
There has speculation since that O’Day had recorded heartbreak songs about Trump Jr.
Page Six has also reported of O’Day’s revealing 2012 appearance on the podcast “Risk!” when she spoke about an affair with “a big celebrity” that started after completion of the filming of a reality show. She didn’t reveal which reality show or celebrity, but provided other details.
“I was walking through the hallways and got pulled into this bathroom, and he threw me up against the wall and looked at me for two seconds and then we started making out like crazy,” she said during the podcast.
O’Day said the “big celebrity” nicknamed her Spanky for her choice of Spanx underwear.
She added that she developed trust issues during the affair because “he hangs out with, like, Victoria’s Secret models, he’s at dinner with huge celebrities, he runs with the biggest agents and managers and like, he’s the (expletive).”
O’Day has denied ever hooking up with Diddy. Could she have been talking about Trump Jr.?
