Halle Berry Took a Big Fall During a Charity Event and Handled It in the Most Hilarious Way

Even the best fall down sometimes.

On February 10, Halle Berry fell flat on her face while presenting an award at the Looking Beyond LA charity luncheon. Everything was going smoothly as the Academy Award–winning actor approached the stage in her sky-high Stuart Weitzman booties until she was faced with a set of stairs. Of course, Berry picked herself right back up and gave her speech like a pro.

“If I see this on the internet,” Berry jokingly warned the audience before proceeding to share her tumble on the internet. In the Instagram Reel, she showcased the mishap from two separate angles, captioning the clips, “Sometimes you bust your ass!”

The caption continued, “What happened was…My dear friend @shillahekmatpiano invited me to speak at her charity event celebrating a wonderful organization called @lookingbeyondla that raises money for children with special needs… then that happened!!! I face planted 🪴 If you can go to lookingbeyondla.com and donate. Children are worth it!  🙏🏽” 

“Halle too damn real for this! We stan a queen that can laugh at herself,” one user commented on the video, while another wrote, “You didn’t fall. The floor was just getting up. Glad you’re okay!”

But enough about the fall, can we talk about the ’fit? In a separate post, Berry shared her “Friday Serve,” giving fans a better look at her amazing suit. Frankly, the 56-year-old icon was dressed to kill in a studded Zuhair Murad skirt and blazer over a sheer lace bustier and trousers. 

If you're like me, you'd fall all over yourself just trying to get a better look. Thankfully, stylist Lindsay Flores shared a video of Berry walking in the full ensemble, including the high-heeled Stuart Weitzman heels that started it all. 

Honestly, no one does it like Halle Berry, fall or no fall.
