"Since it's a reddish brown you can tailor the color to flatter any skin tone," explains Stephanie Brown, a colorist at the Nunzio Saviano Salon in New York City. Fair complexions with pink undertones or those with olive-y skin should go for a more brown-based mane, Brown says, while neutral skin tones with yellow or blue tints, or those with dark skin, can go more red.
