Livista Energy Europe S.A. is building its first #lithium #refinery in Europe at the Emden site, Lower Saxony #germany #recycling #racetozero Livista Energy Europe S.A., together with the port operator Niedersachsen Ports GmbH & Co. KG, has concluded a contract to lease a total of 32 hectares on the Wybelsumer Polder to build its first low-carbon lithium refinery in Germany at the Emden site in Lower Saxony. Both parties had previously agreed in a basic agreement, a “Letter of Intent”, agreed on the key points of the signed contract and also signed a joint declaration of intent with Lower Saxony's Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport, Building and Digital, Olaf Lies, in which the state of Lower Saxony promised the company its support in implementing the project at the Emden location. #lithium #batteryproduction #electromobility #energytransition #circulareconomy
