People always ask me what it’s like to work at SafetyCulture and what it’s like be a woman in Tech. This photo is a perfect example of why I love what I do. Im proud to say that SafetyCulture sponsored B&T’s Women Leading Tech awards and I’m greatful for the opportunity to attend. This is one of the many things that we do to show support for women in tech. #womenintech

This post is a couple of weeks late but I’m still buzzing to have been a finalist in the Women Leading Tech Awards hosted by Atlassian in the Cyber Security category for 2024! 🥳 5 or so years ago when I was lucky enough to get my first graduate rotation at Westpac in Security, I didn’t know what it was all about and I was basically certain that I wouldn’t be able to do it. Fast forward to 2024. Ive learnt a huge amount at both Westpac and SafetyCulture working on AppSec, DevSecOps and now more Product and Cloud Security as well. I’ve had the most amazing managers and mentors without whom I wouldn’t be here. Special shoutout to Stefano Parini Jack Healy Steven Rogers Peter Arts Felipe Nakandakari. I’ve also been lucky enough to give back by mentoring many young women joining the industry. A huge thank you to the constant support of all my colleagues at SafetyCulture especially Tim Verguizas and Mirei S. for their huge effort in recognising the amazing women we work with! It's hard to believe how much i've grown at SafetyCulture in under 2 years. ✨ I'm so greatful to be working with the most amazing security team and in a company that has invested so much in my growth. I can't wait to see our team grow and to continue protecting this amazing company and our customers. 🔐 We have an open role in the Cloud Security space as we grow our team, so if you want to join a bunch of awesome people in the security and engineering teams in SafetyCulture, this is your chance! ⏰
