Engineering Serendipity at events to create opportunities to network is fantastic. It was harder to do this six years back, and we used platforms like Poken by GES. As an event organizer, it was expensive and hard to prove ROI. However, today, there are a lot more proven frameworks of execution and attribution supported by technology that make this possible for a fraction of the cost, which delivers ROI not just to your firm but also to your attendees and sponsors. #gtmengineered #eventledgrowth

Exhibitors measure success by the number of buyers they meet at trade shows or expo’s. So many times at shows they ask me “Where are the buyers”. This is why it is vitally important to have a good ratio of buyers to sellers. At Spotlight we endeavour to have a minimum ratio of 4 buyers to one exhibitor (4:1) – this ensures that exhibitors are kept extremely busy with a constant flow of visitors to their tables. At our recent Spotlight in Arusha 298 buyers attended with 45 Exhibitors participating (6:1), while in Gaborone 238 trade and corporates from 104 different companies met with 36 exhibitors (6:1). Both Expo’s providing an excellent buyer-to-seller ratio!

Already one week since #bapco2024 and full steam ahead towards IWCE and TCCA - Critical Communications World. So good to see how #criticalcommunications industry is progressing with broadband adoption.

During The Meetings Show this year we had a team of visualisers creating different types of visuals.
