  Berlin's Bonsai Kitten has staying power alright, but it would also appear that they've just getting warmed up! On their new album, "MINDCRAFT", out Sept. 7th, 2017, the drums and guitars rip out of the speakers with vicious teeth, the 3-string bass guitar pounds like Vulcan's hammer, and singer Tiger Lilly Marleen sounds as if she's on the verge of combusting. This single sets the band firmly amongst the elite set of Germany's current crop of rock and punk bands. The new album, out Sept. 2017 has an urgency and force that finally comes close to capturing the band's sweat-drenched and ecstatic live shows, which have earned them the reputation as one of the most exciting bands to come out of Germany. But beneath the initial force of the delivery, the underlying playfulness of the band is what makes them properly contagious. • BONSAI KITTEN have been a source of energy and inspiration for some years now. Founder and riot grrrl Tiger Lilly Marleen is "a mind-blowing whirlwind on stage with a distinctive strikingly sultry voice" (Berliner Newspaper). 2019 started off with a new line up of blues rocker Wally on lead-guitar, known from bands such as Psychopunch and Marc "Speedy" Reign, former drummer of metal bands Morgoth and Destruction. Together with long time member Spoxx on 3-string bass they wrote and live-recorded a new album in the summer of 2019. LOVE AND LET DIE has just been released on Friday the 13th of March 2020 on Sunny Bastard Records / Soul Food with a unique sound that combines the spirit of Woodstock with Wacken.
