The conversion to van is staggeringly half arsed with the door lines still being there.

From what I can tell they were Irish market only so presumably built locally from estates?

I didn't even know they existed!

The only thing I know about BXs is the ABS equipped GTI was more expensive to insure than the non-ABS version, apparently due to the regular failure of the ABS system resulting in no braking system.

Not at £2.5k.

Looks like a typical flipper car. Fibreglass and filler with a shiny paint job that's punted onto someone unsuspecting. A couple of years (or months) down the line and they start poking to lead with that.

Problem is, if the boot floor is fibreglass, just think what else is.

Given they're not exactly the stiffest car when metal, I dread to think how floppy that is to drive! :shock:
