Halle Berry And Halle Bailey Finally Meet At Los Angeles Soccer Game

Two of the world’s most famous Halle’s have finally crossed paths — thanks to soccer.

Halle Bailey and Halle Berry — who have both been mistaken for one another due to similar spelling and pronunciation of their names — ran into each other while both attending a Los Angeles Galaxy soccer game on Sunday (Feb. 25).

Seen in a carousel of photos posted by both actresses on Instagram, the two were all smiles as they shared a warm hug.

“When two Halles link up [white heart emoji] truly adore you @hallebailey,” the coveted Hollywood icon captioned the collaborative post. Bailey commented, “i was living for this moment!! thank you for being so kind to me you’ve made my life.”

Halle Bailey has been hitting the scene since giving birth to her son, whom she shares with rapper and content creator DDG. Most recently, Bailey attended the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards with her sister Chlöe where she spoke on the joys of motherhood.

“I have never felt more creatively inspired in my whole life. This is such a beautiful time for me because I truly feel like I’m venturing into my womanhood,” she shared with the Associated Press. “ I feel like a woman now, after having a baby. So, it opens up this whole other portal to write about stuff.”

The 23-year-old gave birth to her son sometime before the 2024 New Year settled in. With an Instagram post, the “Angel” singer shared a photo of her, DDG, and their bundle of joy holding hands.

Keeping the ball rolling nonetheless, Bailey has continued to work as she recently appeared in The Color Purple this year and The Little Mermaid last year.

Next month, Bailey will also be honored at the upcoming Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards taking place on March 7 in Los Angeles.
