Rangers would have to hand over 10 per cent of the transfer fee to HJK Helsinki if they sell Alfredo Morelos .

Record Sport revealed Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe have made two bids to the Ibrox side for the striker.

The latest is around £7.5million – meaning Morelos’ former club would rake in £750,000 from Rangers after the Finnish side inserted a sell-on clause.

HJK Helsinki - who received a record transfer fee of £1million when Morelos moved to Scotland last summer - are waiting to see if they land another windfall if the Ibrox club do cash in.

And when the player signed for Rangers, HJK's commercial manager Sari Mikkonen-Mannila said: "This is the biggest transfer in the club's history.

"The transfer to Rangers includes bonuses for us if he hits certain targets and additional reimbursements for any future transfer."
