Since we had couple threads regarding about this lately, i decided to make a thread on how as ive been through this.

Since I keep my coins in that little compartment by the lighter, i accidently dropped a penny inside, took it out with paper clip, then made my charger not work. Changing the fuse fixes this, here's on how to do this.

The fuses are behind the headlight switch, the door has to be open for access.

1. Open it with key fob or secondary key (three clips are holding so keep pulling)

2. The fuse for cigarette lighter power
(As you can tell by the different contrast of yellow, i already replaced it)

3. Pull it out with that white thing that was inside the cover piece

A broken fuse should look like this

They sell those at autozone or advanced auto parts, 5 pieces in one package for 3-4$ (as long is yellow and says 20 or 02, it will work, you may find different shaped one as of the arch) put it on and done!

Hope this works out for you guys.

Two suggestions: thread title should be "How to change a fuse" or "One possible way to fix a 12V socket/cigarette lighter."

And it's a 20-amp fuse. It doesn't say "02", you're just reading it backwards.

I still don't know why they just didn't print out a use box guide or at least have one in the owners manual
