Chop Soupy
Ingredients:
1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips (or use leftover roast)
2 T vegetable oil
1 can mushrooms
1 c celery, sliced diagonally
1/2 c green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 c onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 can water chestnuts
1 can beef type soup
2 T soy sauce
1/2 c water and 2 T corn starch
Directions:
Brown meat in oil. Add vegetables, soup and soy sauce. Cover and cook on low heat until heat is tender (20 minutes?). Stir occasionally. Blend water and cornstarch. Pour into skillet and stir. Serves 4.
